Alejandra Guzmán & Paulina Rubio

Mexican superstars Alejandra Guzmán and Paulina Rubio kicked off their Perrísimas US Tour to a sold out crowd at Hard Rock Live Orlando last Friday, April 15.

For more than three decades both have constructed outstanding careers, garnering praise as the “Queen of Latin Rock” and the “Queen of Latin Pop,” respectively. After years of rivalry between them (both have often been pitted against each other through the years), Alejandra and Paulina performed on the same stage for the first time ever.

Covering a show from the soundboard, and not from “the pit”, is always a challenge for any concert photographer. Not only you’re several feet away from the stage, but you also have to dodge and find your way against hundreds or thousands of mobile phones. Not my favorite shooting environment, but I always welcome the challenge. 😊
